teaching & learning in art & design     2021-2022

Engaged in research projects for RISD's Teaching & Learning in Art & Design (TLAD) Department and managed TLAD's social media presence.

 

Responsibilities included but were not limited to:

  Creating and posting content for departmental Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts

   Researching local community based art programs

    Research on Art Education in K-12 schools in Rhode Island

    Communicating with TLAD faculty and graduate students for news related to current projects and practices

     Design projects for department.

Increasing a sense of community in a cohort that

has endured remote learning and a pandemic was one of my main goals when fulfilling the role as a Social Media and Content Creator.

Since the department is going through a transitional stage, showcasing engagements with departmental content was an important asset to include when considering community engagement.
